Q: What is the lead time on paid orders?

Chic Shelf Paper is a print-on-demand manufacturer and every item is made to order.

  • Standard sheet and roll orders generally take 1-4 business days to produce.
  • Custom cut-to-size orders generally take 2-5 business days.

Large or complex orders may take a day or two longer.

 

Q: What is the lead time on US sample orders?

Sample orders are processed once per week (typically on Mondays) and shipped by First Class mail.

 

Q: How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Most Western U.S. deliveries are 1-3 days, and deliveries to the East Coast can take between 5-7 business days. Rural locations may add 2-3 days to delivery times.

Express delivery options are available at checkout.

Tracking information is emailed upon shipment.

 

Q: What does shipping cost in the US?

To get an accurate shipping cost, add your total order to the shopping cart. Then begin the checkout process and you will be presented with shipping options. (Please make sure we have an accurate shipping address.)

In general, shipping for small orders starts at $7-12 depending on your location; rural deliveries can be more.

If your order is in excess of $100, free shipping will be presented as an option during check-out. If you want free shipping, please select it.

For free shipping offers, Chic Shelf Paper will select the service from among FedEx Ground, FedEx Smart Post or Priority Mail. Continental US only.

 

Q: How does free shipping work?

Chic Shelf Paper offers free shipping on orders over $100 to the Continental USA. We also occasionally offer free shipping promotions.

For orders over $100, free shipping will be presented as an option during check-out. If you want free shipping, please remember to select it.

We list all shipping options for orders over $100 because some customers prefer expedited shipping.

When we offer free shipping promotions,  typically you’ll enter a code to get the free shipping discount. As before, Chic Shelf Paper will ship via USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground or FedEx Smart Post.

Q: What shipping methods do you use?

We ship from California and our default shipping for domestic orders is FedEx Ground, FedEx Smart Post or USPS Priority Mail with no signature required.

All of these methods are track-able.

 

Q: How is Chic Shelf Paper packaged?

  • Chic Shelf Paper packages orders in a sturdy cardboard square tube carton to avoid damage.
  • Items are rolled design-out for easy installation, and multiple items are rolled together.
  • Each order is packed and sealed in a cellophane sleeve.
  • We also include installation instructions and a free squeegee tool for adhesive product orders.

 

Q: What if my order is lost or damaged?

Please consult tracking information to learn the status of your order.

If your order is lost or damaged, contact Chic Shelf Paper (sales@chicshelfpaper.com) and we will work to replace your order as quickly as possible.

 

Q: How can I ensure secure delivery?

We recommend you select a business or a trusted neighbor for delivery if you aren’t expected to be home when your shipment arrives.

If tracking indicates a successful delivery to your requested ship-to address, we cannot replace your order if it’s been stolen.

 

Q: Is there a cost for International sample orders? How long do they take to arrive?

We provide free samples but due to increased postage for international orders, we must charge a small handling fee of $1.00USD per sample.

Sample orders are processed once per week and shipped by First Class mail.

 

Q: What are International Shipping rates?

Our default shipping option for international orders is First Class International Parcel Service (USPS postage price calculator here.)

Packages over 4 lbs (1.8 kilos) must ship via Priority Mail which is  6-10 days to many countries. We also offer FedEx International Express service if supported in your country.

First Class International delivery times vary but generally will take between 1-3 weeks to reach their destination.

First Class International postage for a small roll of Chic Shelf Paper generally starts between $9-$15 depending on the destination, European countries are higher.
